Blankets to Haiti 2010:
On March 10, 2010 Trinity Christian School students were sprawled out in the gym tying the ends on colorful fleece blankets. Teacher Annette Kreft said they've used about 260 yards of material to make the blankets. Students chose the blanket project as their service project, she said, and they're working with the Salvation Army in Minneapolis to get them sent off to Haiti. Most of the money for the blankets was raised by the students, she said. Each blanket comes with a message in French, Haiti's native tongue, stating it was made with love.
