Class B State Cross Country Meet  
Saturday, October 22 @ Jamestown, ND
 
Beautiful Autumn day.  Perfect conditions…cool, calm and mostly cloudy.
Not an easy course, though.  Very uneven surface (mowed prairie grass) and lots of sharp turns, in and out of trees.
New Town won the boys team title with 18 points (1-2-4-5-6).  Hillsboro-Central Valley won the girls team title with 133 points.

WTCS results from Class B West Region X-C Meet in Beulah Saturday, October 22nd.

The West Region encompasses the entire western half of ND.  21 teams showed up.

  • Colby Grindeland (homeschool, 7th grader) took 4th in the JV/JH race in 13:28 (37 sec improvement from 2 weeks ago on this same course). Colby got a nice placque for his efforts.
  • Greta Eder (11th grader) placed 28th in 22:58 (35 sec improvement on this course).
  • Ethan Decker (9th grader) took 77th in 21:55, and Judah Lind (homeschool, 11th grade) finished 81st in 22:18 (40 sec improvement).
  • Great efforts, Crusaders, under difficult conditions: snow on the ground, temperatures in the 30’s and relentless hills.
